While I was enrolled at Tooele Tech I enjoyed the combination of classwork and hands
-on lab work. The training covered a broad spectrum of the needed skills to be an industrial mechanic and helped me get into the maintenance department. The PLC course stands out in my memory; practicing troubleshooting, and building a program to completion was gratifying. The machining and welding courses came in handy when I needed to fabricate a part at 3:00 a.m., and knowing the basics of the mill and lathe and what you can create in a couple of hours is pretty cool. This program is great and can make a big difference for someone wanting to get started in the field of Industrial Maintenance.
