Enrollment Process
- Step 1 – Scheduling an appointment with an Academic Advisor
- Contact Tooele Tech at #435-248-1800 to schedule your appointment
- Open 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
- Step 2 – Complete the Enrollment Application (Previously enrolled students can skip this step and go directly to step 3)
- Click here to Apply for a Program. If you are enrolling in single course, select the corresponding Program or select Undecided
- Step 3 – Meet with an Academic Advisor to get a Personalized Training and Career Plan and finalize your enrollment
- Come prepared to discuss program interests and career goals
- Your advisor will determine if you will need to schedule an assessment test for basic math and reading comprehension
- Advisors will also assist with a financial plan (Federal Pell Grant, Veterans, Sponsors and Scholarships)
- Step 4 – Meet with an Enrollment Specialist
- Our Enrollment Specialist will finalize your enrollment and establish your weekly schedule
- Pay your $40 enrollment fee, first months tuition, program fee and pay for instructional materials needed on the first day of class
- Step 5 – Orientation
- Students need to complete the on-line orientation within four business days prior to their start date
- After you complete the application send an email to your Enrollment Specialist letting them know your are finished
- Step 6 – Attend class
- Faculty are waiting to welcome you and will provide an orientation to their classroom and your program or course curriculum
Re-enrolling
Students who wish to re-enroll do not need to fill out a new application (skipping step 2 in the enrollment process and moving to step 3; schedule and appointment with an advisor). These students will just need to have an enrollment specialist update their existing registration.
Students who have completed their objective and officially withdrawn at the conclusion of their training may re-enroll by establishing a new training plan and schedule without paying a reinstatement fee if they are continuing their training within one year from the withdrawal date.
Students who withdrew prior to completing their training plan or have been withdrawn due to a 10-day drop will be required to pay a $20 reinstatement fee and all account balances prior to returning to class.
Making Your Tuition and Fee Payments
First Month Tuition and Fee Payment
Financing your open-entry open-exit program or courses is easy with monthly payments based on the number of hours you schedule each week. Students can fix their schedule around the amount they have to spend on their training program or the amount of time they wish to complete the program or course in. Payments can be made on-line through the student portal, over the phone with a credit or debit card or in person at the enrollment counter.
You will need to do two things before your first day of class:
- Pay your first month’s tuition and fees
- Purchase or bring any required books or supplies that are needed on your first day, student services staff can assist you with items you will nee
Monthly Tuition and Fee Payment
- Payment is due on the 5th of each month
- Students who have not paid their balance by the end of the month will be withdrawn
- Withdrawn students will need to pay a $20 reinstatement fee, plus their account balance
- Please pay on-time, if you need assistant, Student Services will help you determine a schedule that fits your budget!
