Assessment – Tooele Technical College

The Tooele Tech Assessment Center strives to provide a secure, comfortable, stress-minimizing testing atmosphere for current students. Whether you’re just starting your education journey or have recently completed your program, we can help you achieve your goals! We offer TABE pre-enrollment assessment and multiple types of State & National Certifications.

Testing Requirements

Valid Picture ID is required for all exams
Children are not permitted in the assessment area
Cell phones or electronic devices are not permitted in the assessment area
All personal items or belongings will be stored in a locker
Tests are conducted in room 227

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

TABE – Tests of Adult Basic Education

Math and English language skills are important for success in training programs. The College assists students in achieving their potential by assessing their basic skill levels in math and the English language by evaluating their skills through high school or college transcripts which includes ACT scores AND using the Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE).

The student’s transcripts with ACT scores and/or TABE score will determine whether students will directly enroll in their program, enroll in the Success Academy course(s), be referred back to their high school, or to an Adult Education Center. Tooele Tech Advisors work with students to determine the best approach for them.
