Training Options

The Custom Fit Training Program funds training for Utah employees that is tailored to meet specific employer needs. The trainings we help facilitate are intended to give local business a competitive edge, attract new businesses and aid in the retention and expansion of existing businesses. Through the facilitation of training on a broad scale and other services, Custom Fit complements a diversity of services for business and industry, which in turn stimulates the economy.Below is a general description of the various types of training that we currently work with. Both online and live facilitator led training options are described. Online TrainingThese online trainings are made available at significantly discounted rates when you register through the Tooele Technical College. Licensed businesses in Tooele County can receive additional discount of up to 50% off of the discounted rate through our Custom Fit Program.

Continuing Education Standard online continuing education-type courses. Each course is 24 hours spread over six weeks.

Manufacturing/ Industrial Training Manufacturing online courses for CNC operators, machinists, press operators, and engineers. Click here to learn more

Leadership and Personnel Management Online leadership, supervisory skills, productivity, sales, and customer service courses. Each course is 2-3 hours.

Live Facilitator Led Training

There is no finite list of training topics that we help fund through Custom Fit. If you can end a topic with the word “training” we can probably locate a qualified instructor and connect you with a training program on that subject. We can also work with training and instructors that you identify. Although 80% of our training is done at the company site, our state of the art facilities are also available free of charge from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm on week days.
