Salon Services
Tooele Tech offers a variety of hair, skin and nail services to the public; walk-ins and appointments are welcome. These guest services helps students complete their training by perfecting their styling skills and techniques and log hours required to graduate. All services are performed by students under the supervision of an instructor.

Course Description:
In this course, students will be given an overview of the nail technician profession and learn professional ethics, attire and how to make professional associations.
Certificate:Completion of this course certifies proficient understanding based on a score of 80% or higher on competency exams. A Certificate of Skill Competence is available upon request.
This course, in conjunction with the remaining Nail Technician courses, fulfills requirements for the TATC Certificate of Proficiency for the Nail Technician program. Completion of the program will also prepare you to sit for the Utah Division of Professional Licensing PSI Nail Technician exam.

Course Description:
Students will apply their knowledge to practice various nail treatments, as well as salon management, reception, appointment setting and salon ecology.
