Course Description:
- Tooele Tech students who have just graduated from High School are eligible to receive the Bridge Scholarship. This scholarship covers tuition and program fees up to 3 months following High School graduation.

- Cargill Scholarship

Course Description:
- The Cargill Scholarship is awarded to students who choose to enroll, or are currently enrolled in Industrial Maintenance and Automation Technician, Heavy Duty Diesel and Welding Technician programs. Cargill in Tooele County is a critical partner of the Tooele Technical College (TTECH) and is actively engaged in supporting and advising numerous programs and the institution as a whole. Cargill is committed to supporting community engagement, conducting business with integrity, operating responsibly, enriching communities and nourishing the world. This scholarship is limited to specific programs, but will be awarded on an equal opportunity basis.

- Springs, Clutch and Brake Applications

Course Description:
In this course, students will learn about spring, clutch and brake applications.
Certificate:Completion of this course certifies proficient understanding of proper use of springs and clutch and brake applications based on a score of 80% or higher on text and competency exams. A Certificate of Skills Competence is available upon request.
This course fulfills requirements for the following Programs: Competencies (skills you will learn):- Understanding of the use of springs
- Understanding of clutch and brake applications
This is a competency-based course offered in open-entry/open-exit format.
Course Length:The estimated length of this course is 10 hours. Actual course length will depend upon your schedule and your ability to master the subject material.

Admission Requirements
8 a.m. – 12 p.m. FridaysStudents must be at least 16 years old to enroll in this course. There are no specific requirements to take this course. However courses in the Maintenance Technology Program are to be taken in order. If a student wants to take a single course it must be pre-approved by the instructor and there may be prerequisite courses.

Tuition & Fees:Tuition is based on the number of enrolled classroom hours. High school students are exempt from tuition, but are responsible for course and program fees and the cost of textbooks. Please visit the Tuition pages of this website or contact Student Services for current tuition and fee information. This course does not have an individual course fee, but please see the information sheet for your desired program for estimated total program tuition and fee costs.
