This course teaches students critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage a first aid or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first minutes until emergency medical services arrives.
Certificate:Completion of this course certifies proficiency in performing CPR and providing basic first aid assistance. A Certificate of Skill Competence is available upon request.
This course fulfills requirements for the following Programs: Competencies (skills you will learn):- Understand basic first aid and emergency preparedness
- Administer proper CPR techniques
This 10 hour course is a competency-based and offered in open-entry/open-exit format.
Course Length:The estimated length of this course is 10 hours. Actual course length will depend upon your schedule and your ability to master the subject material.
