Students will learn about chemistry and electricity as they relate to nails. In addition, students will study for the state license exam and learn about business management basics.
Certificate:Completion of this course certifies proficient understanding based on a score of 80% or higher on competency exams. A Certificate of Skill Competence is available upon request.
This course, in conjunction with the remaining Nail Technician courses, fulfills requirements for the TATC Certificate of Proficiency for the Nail Technician program. Completion of the program will also prepare you to sit for the Utah Division of Professional Licensing PSI Nail Technician exam.
This course fulfills requirements for the following Programs: Competencies (skills you will learn):- Understand how electricity and chemistry are utilized in the nail industry
- Understanding of state license exam elements
- Learn basic business management skills
This is a competency-based course offered in an open-entry/open-exit format.
Course Length:The estimated length of this course is 24 hours. Actual course length will depend upon your schedule and your ability to master the subject material.
