This course provides the student with theory and hands-on experience on maintenance and repair of the heavy duty drive train systems. Instruction and repair will cover clutches, transmissions and drive lines. The student will be required to perform clutch adjustments and replacement, pull transmissions, pull and repair drive lines and u-joints, and small transmission rebuilds.
This course fulfills requirements for the following Programs: Competencies (skills you will learn):- Students will be proficient in the diagnosis and repair of drive train components. Terminology, drive line inspection/repair, clutch inspection/adjustment, small transmission rebuild.
