In this course, students will continue their knowledge of hair cutting and styling learning more advanced techniques.
Certificate:Completion of this course certifies proficient understanding based on a score of 80% or higher on competency exams and 100% on skill demonstration. A Certificate of Skill Competence is available upon request.
This course, in conjunction with the remaining Cosmetology/Barbering courses, fulfills requirements for the TATC Certificate of Proficiency for the Cosmetology/Barbering program. Completion of the program will also prepare you to sit for the Utah Division of Professional Licensing PSI Cosmetologist/Barber exam.
This course fulfills requirements for the following Programs: Competencies (skills you will learn):- Learn advanced hair cutting techniques
- Learn advanced hair styling techniques
This is a competency-based course offered in open-entry/open-exit format.
Course Length:The estimated length of this course is 44 hours. Actual course length will depend upon your schedule and your ability to master the subject material.
