In this course, students will learn about axis, codes, mill offset and memory and storage in the CNC mill.
Certificate:Completion of this course certifies proficient understanding of core CNC information based on a score of 80% or higher on text and competency exams. A Certificate of Skills Competence is available upon request.

This is a competency-based course offered in open-entry/open-exit format.
Course Length:The estimated length of this course is 35 hours. Actual course length will depend upon your schedule and your ability to master the subject material.

8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday – Thursday
8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Fridays
Students must be at least 16 years old to enroll in this course. There are no specific requirements to take this course. However courses in the Maintenance Technology Program are to be taken in order. If a student wants to take a single course it must be pre-approved by the instructor and there may be prerequisite courses.
