Learn business math that is used by commercial enterprises to record and manage operations. Through hands-on experience, students will work through the use of mathematics in accounting, payroll processing, marketing, sales, consumer and business credit.
Certificate:Completion of this course certifies proficient business math skills based on a score of 80% or higher on competency exams. A Certificate of Skill Competence is available upon request.

Competencies (skills you will learn):- Demonstrate the ability to use whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Understanding of math applications in the business industry
- Understand procedures for creating invoices, applying discounts, markup and markdowns
- Demonstrate the ability to process payroll
- Formulate interest calculations
- Understand consumer and business credit and mortgages
This is a competency-based course offered in open-entry/open-exit format.
Course Length:The estimated length of this course is 90 hours. Actual course length will depend upon your schedule and your ability to master the subject material.
