Students gain a broader understanding of server-side programming by building restful API’s and managing back end resources.
Competencies (skills you will learn):- Knowledge of server systems (Prepare for and optionally acquire CompTIA certifications such as Server+ and Linux+)
- Understand basic security requirements when building services on a server
- Understand data storage concepts such as normalization, relationships between datasets, and query languages
- Understand use cases for relational databases, document stores, and real-time data synchronization solutions
- Learn about Big Data and data science - Learn the Python programming language, used by data scientists and developers alike
- Learn to use regular expressions and powerful tools for manipulating data
- Become familiar with PHP, a popular tool for building APIs and web applications
This is a competency-based course offered in open-entry/open-exit format.

Tuition & Fees:Tuition is based on the number of enrolled classroom hours. High school students are exempt from tuition, but are responsible for course and program fees.
