Students develop the skills to install, maintain and troubleshoot Fire Alarm Systems. Further understanding of motors, controls, air conditioning and refrigeration is included this semester. Students will also finalize coursework needed in preparation for the journeyman test.

Electrician Apprentice program students must work at least part-time for an electrical company, and be supervised by a Master or Journeyman Electrician. However, unemployed first year students may register for courses if there is space available.
Obtain Apprentice Electrician License (see application for apprentice electrician license below). This license must be obtained before being admitted to the second course.
TABE test results of 10th grade reading and math levels required.

Tuition & Fees:Tuition is based on the number of enrolled classroom hours. High school students are exempt from tuition, but are responsible for course and program fees and the cost of textbooks.
