This course helps students gain a broader understanding of Electrical Theory along with code requirements for residential wiring, including heating systems, fire alarm and security systems. Pipe bending instruction is also included in this semester.
Competencies (skills you will learn):- Students will be sufficiently safe to perform second semester level skills and procedures on a job site.
- Students will understand and apply concepts consistent with the national electric code.

Electrician Apprentice program students must work at least part-time for an electrical company, and be supervised by a Master or Journeyman Electrician. However, unemployed first year students may register for courses if there is space available.
